Jo-Ann Murray

Jo-Ann02Centre Manager

I am proud to be the Centre Manager of Chelsea House Early Childhood Centre. I have been with Chelsea House on the Kapiti Coast since it opened in 2000 and am a registered early childhood teacher.

I am passionate about the value of quality early childhood education and am proud to be associated with a centre that prides itself on creating a stimulating, nurturing, respectful environment for the child, teachers and families.

My husband and I have lived in Kapiti for the last 35 years and have six adult children and eight beautiful grandchildren.  In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, cake decorating, reading, pottering in my garden and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

I look forward to meeting you and your families and getting to know you throughout your time at Chelsea House.

Aynsley-RCentre Administrator

I have been working at Chelsea House on the Kapiti Coast since October 2005.  I initially started in the After School/Holiday programme and in the Young Children’s licence.  In 2007 I became the Centre Administrator.

I was born in Wanganui but relocated to the Wellington region as a child.  I had previous long careers with both the government and in the banking industry.  In 2001 I moved to Kapiti with my husband and sharemilked on a local farm until it sold in 2005. I am stepmother to his three sons.

I love working for Chelsea House, enjoy interacting with our parents and watching their children mature during their time at Chelsea House.

Kia Ora, my name is Julia.  I hold a bachelor of teaching and have been involved in the teaching profession for the past 16 years.  I have worked at Chelsea House Raumati for the past 14 years and have enjoyed my time getting to know the children and families at the centre. I have spent most of my time at the centre working with the two year old children and find providing child care and education experiences for children of this age very rewarding. I enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and providing a stimulating and fun learning environment.

I have lived on the Kapiti Coast for the last 22 years with my husband. We have three adult daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. Outside of work I enjoy spending time and having lots of fun with my children and grandchildren, reading and watching movies.

Sandra-(R)Cook

Before I worked at Chelsea House Raumati on the Kapiti Coast,  I owned my own café.  Nowadays, I prepare delicious and healthy children’s meals and snacks for Chelsea House, including children with special diets.

With five daughters, one stepdaughter, one stepson, and so far three Grandsons,  I have been around children for a large part of my life.  I find it very rewarding and great fun to have the Chelsea House children interact with preparation and making their own creations in the kitchen.
